Richard Robert MacNeil, 59, of Attleboro, MA, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Monday, May 17, 2021 following a brief illness. He was the beloved fiancée of Darlene F. Bardsley Mullaney with whom he resided.
Born on October 3, 1961 in Woonsocket, RI, he was the son of the late Arthur MacNeil and the late Marjorie (Henderson) MacNeil.
Richard worked for many years in the welding industry and was the owner and operator of Mac's Services in Chepachet, RI before retiring.
His favorite pastimes included playing the guitar, listening and playing country music, and enjoying a good game of horseshoes with family and friends.
In addition to his fiancée, Darlene, he leaves his brothers: James MacNeil of Bellingham, MA; Russell MacNeil, of Bellingham, MA; and John Johnson of Bellingham, MA; his sister: Judith Collins of Largo, FL; three generations of nieces and nephews; members of his fiancée's family; his extended family; and many dear friends. He was predeceased by his siblings: the late Dan MacNeil, the late William MacNeil, the late Arthur MacNeil, and the late Jean Collins.
Visitation has respectfully been omitted and all services will be private.
