Richard H. Lelievre, 89, of Attleboro, MA., passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 30, 2024 surrounded by his loving family.
Born on July 23, 1934 in Waltham, MA., he was the son of the late Henri and Rose (Doucette) Lelievre.
After earning his Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from Northeastern University, Richard pursued a successful career as an Electrical Engineer for many years before eventually retiring. In addition to his professional accomplishments, he found great joy in traveling and was a proud Navy veteran.
He is survived by his former wife Jane (Gallagher) Lelievre of Harwich, MA and his loving daughters, Maureen Taggart and her husband Scott of Northboro, MA., Nancy Pickard and her husband Fred of Providence, RI., and Judith "Judy" Carden of Norton, MA. He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren, LeAnn Taggart-Romero, Eric Taggart, Anthony Carden, Michael Carden, Olivia Pickard and Margaret "Maggie" Pickard. In addition, he leaves behind his former wife Sandra Lelievre Parkman of North Attleboro, MA and a devoted sister, Gail Tocci of Franklin, MA. He was the brother of the late Florence "Flo" Rossi, Charles "Willie" Lelievre, Alfred "Red" Lelievre and Thomas "Al" Lelievre.
Family and friends are cordially invited to attend visitation on Monday, July 8, 2024, from 12:30 pm until 1:30 pm in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA followed by a funeral service at 1:30 pm.
Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery and Arboretum, 565 Mount Hope Street, North Attleboro, MA.
