Richard Warren Hoyle, 67, of Bourne; a native of Attleboro; died on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at Falmouth Hospital following a health decline since last August. Born in Norwood, Massachusetts on June 20, 1943, he was a son of Esther L. (Engberg) Hoyle of Attleboro and the late Warren S. Hoyle who died in October 1994. Mr. Hoyle was raised and educated in the City of Attleboro where he graduated from Attleboro High School. He was a veteran of the United States Navy having served aboard the USS Norfolk. Mr. Hoyle resided on Cape Cod for the past 10 years having previously lived in Florida and in the Attleboro area for many years. He was employed as a care provider for special needs adults associated with the Kennedy-Donovan Center in Hyannis for two years and previously was employed in a similar capacity for the Wrentham Developmental Center. In addition to his mother, he leaves a sister: Carol L. Cherry of Attleboro; three brothers: John Hoyle and his wife, Olive (Webber) Hoyle, of Plainville; Robert Hoyle of Murphy, North Carolina and David Hoyle and his wife, Lori (Fisk) Hoyle, of Wrentham; five nieces and nephews, extended family members and dear friends. Visitation has been respectfully omitted. A private funeral service will be held for immediate family. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Attleboro. Please omit flowers.
