Richard "Dick" Stephen Foley departed this world on June 26, 2022, at the age of 67.
He leaves his wife Deborah (Decker) Foley of 41 years; daughter Katherine (Foley) Wilkins, her husband Ethan, grandsons Wyatt and Hunter Wilkins and daughter Jennifer (Foley) Bouley and husband Kyle, sister Carol (Foley) Crowley, brother James Foley and wife Debra, brother William Foley and wife Donna.
He was predeceased by his parents Richard and Pauline Foley of Norwood.
He also leaves behind many loving nephews and nieces.
Richard grew up in Norwood MA. He spent his 45-year career working for various retail companies before retiring from Staples Corporations at the age of 63.
He loved golfing and was always happy to get out on the course with his family and friends.
Dick was happiest when surrounded by his family during the holidays and family gatherings, always telling stories and joking around.
He was an extremely talented builder He designed and remodeled his home building several additions since moving to Attleboro 36 years ago.
Richard's interest in military history and building models is evidenced by the many battleships, carriers, and tanks he built over the years. He had the utmost respect for those that served.
Richard will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held in August and will be announced.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Richard's name may be made to the Veterans Transition House, 1297 Purchase St. New Bedford MA 02740 or Veterans Association of Bristol County, 755 Pine St., Fall River MA 02720 in honor of his appreciation of veterans.
