Ricardo Berganza

Ricardo Berganza, 72, of Attleboro, MA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at his home. He was the beloved husband of Maria Concepcion.Born on May 10, 1945 in Jalapa, Guatemala, he was the son of the late Belisario Berganza and the late Simonna (Catu) Berganza.Raised and educated in Guatemala, he was a resident of Attleboro for the past twenty-five years, where he attended Iglesia Arca de Salvacion Church. Ricardo worked for many years as a Jewelry Polisher for various businesses in the area before retiring.He loved spending time with his family, and enjoyed riding horses and playing cards.In addition to his wife, Maria, he leaves his loving children: Ricardo Palma, Maria Palma, and Ruddy E. Berganza Catu, all of Taunton, MA. He was the beloved father of the late Dimas E. Berganza Catu who died on March 17, 2002. He was the proud and adoring grandfather of five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Ricardo was one of thirteen children, and leaves numerous siblings, nieces and nephews, his extended family, and many dear friends.Family and friends are invited to honor and remember Ricardo by gathering for a Visitation on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA, with Prayer Services held during the visitation.
