Rhoda H. Pearce

Rev. Rhoda H. (Zeeman) Pearce, 90, of Attleboro, MA went home to her Heavenly Father on June 26, 2025, at Hope Health Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence, Rhode Island she was in the presence of her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Rev. Charles Leonard Pearce to whom she married on April 1, 1961, and who went home to his Heavenly reward on July 25, 2017.

Born in Cape Town, South Africa on June 2, 1935, she was a daughter of the late Robert William Zeeman and the late Frances Ann (Kuys) Zeeman. Raised and educated in her native country of South Africa, Rev. Pearce was a resident of Attleboro, MA since 2000. She was a graduate of Zion Bible College.

Prior to devoting herself to God, Rev. Pearce was a woman ahead of her time and worked in the South African Stock Exchange. The Revs Pearce served in missions for 40 years with the Assemblies of God.  They ministered in South Africa to the Xhosa nation and spent time ministering in Swaziland.   She dedicated her life to children’s ministry in the villages of South Africa.   In retirement she served on the Mission board at Crossroads International church.   She and her late husband also volunteered at the former Canterbury Woods, now Brookdale, conducting weekly Bible studies.

Left to mourn her loss but celebrate her faith is her daughter: Jenny Aguiar and her husband, John M. Aguiar, Sr., of Attleboro, MA; a grandson: John M. Aguiar, Jr. of Rehoboth, MA; a great grandson: Jace Aguiar of Rehoboth, MA and extended family and members of her congregation.

Visitation has been respectfully omitted.

All are welcome to attend Services on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Crossroads International Church - Assembly of God, 1052 Newport Ave., South Attleboro, MA
Burial will be private.
