Rebecca "May" (Roberts) Pike, 80, of Benjamin Church Manor, Hope Street, Bristol, Rhode Island, died peacefully at her home after a quiet but valiant fight against cancer on Sunday, March 24, 2013 after having been surrounded by the love of her daughters. She was the wife of the late Harry Norman Pike who died on December 25, 2009 and James D. Causey who died more than 30 years ago. Born in Moorestown, New Jersey on October 20, 1932, she was a daughter of the late Edmund and Elizabeth Roberts. She resided in Bristol for the past 12 years following her marriage to Mr. Pike. Mrs. Pike was primarily a homemaker dedicated to her family but treasured the time spent sharing the truths of the Bible with others since 1957 and being an active member of the Jehovah Witness ministry for 56 years. She had a love for the ocean particularly Colt State Park in Bristol and Ocean Drive in Newport, Rhode Island. Her favorite pastimes included time spent cooking for family and friends, gardening and oil painting and artwork and she will be lovingly remembered for her loving, giving personality and her creativity. She attended the Warren, Rhode Island Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. Mrs. Pike leaves two daughters: Arlene C. Weston and her husband, Robert K. Weston, of Attleboro and Jocelyn "Kim" Smith and her husband, Gene Smith, of Providence, Rhode Island; her stepchildren: Bradford Pike of Providence, Rhode Island and Elisha (Pike) Medeiros and her husband, Anthony Medeiros, of Norton; her adored grand cats: Chloe and Blue of Attleboro; several nieces, nephews, dear friends and spiritual children. Visitation has been respectfully omitted.
