Raymond "Ray" Norman Boudreau

August 12, 1952 — May 15, 2022

Raymond "Ray" Norman Boudreau, 69, of Spring Hill, FL, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 15, 2022, at HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital in Hudson, FL.  He was the beloved husband of Claire A. (Laferriere) Boudreau, whom he married on December 26, 1997.
Born on August 12, 1952, in Attleboro, MA, he was the son of the late Norman Boudreau and the late Dorothy (Bosh) Boudreau.
A graduate of Attleboro High School, Class of 1971, he continued his education at Franklin Institute of Boston. Ray worked for forty-three years as a designer and draftsman for Crosby Valve in Wrentham, MA, before retiring in 2015.
Ray resided in Spring Hill, FL, since 2015, having previously lived in Plainville and Attleboro, MA.  A man of faith, he had attended St. John the Evangelist Church in Attleboro for many years.
Ray had many talents and interests, living a life full of adventure. For fourteen years he and Claire spent summers camping at Bourne Scenic Park on Cape Cod enjoying activities and quality time with family and friends. Apart from enjoying sports of every kind, Ray had a knack for tinkering and fixing things, always finding a way to make something look or function better. Unassumingly, he had the same impact on the people in his life; making things better and more rewarding for folks who knew him. He showed his caring nature through his investment of time and effort, volunteering to coach youth sports in the community and at Attleboro High and being a committed member of the Attleboro Elks for many years.  But above all, he cherished the time spent with his loved ones. Ray's children and their families knew, without question, they were deeply loved, creating a legacy of joyous memories to treasure.
In addition to his wife, Claire, he leaves his loving children:  Tobey L. Viveiros and her husband, Jason P. Viveiros, of Attleboro, MA; and Corey Raymond Boudreau and his wife, Molly H. Boudreau, of Sunriver, OR.  He was the proud and adoring grandfather of Jaxon P. Viveiros, Tessa L. Viveiros, Delaney J. Boudreau, and Henry M. Boudreau.  Ray was the brother of Norma Gariepy and her husband, William Gariepy, of Brooksville, FL; Cindy Santos and her husband, Joe Santos, of Spring Hill, FL; Robin Courbron and her husband, Don Courbron, of Rehoboth, MA; Peter Boudreau and his wife, Wendy Boudreau, of Attleboro, MA; and the late Shirley Emilo and her husband, John Emilo, of Vergennes, Vermont.  Ray leaves numerous nieces and nephews, his extended family, and many dear friends. He was the former spouse of Rosalind M. (Joubert) Kalberer of Attleboro, MA.
