Rayanne Susan Bray-Branco, 61, of Attleboro, MA passed away surrounded by her loving family on January 2, 2022, at the Life Care Center of Attleboro following a month-long illness. She was the devoted and dedicated wife of Ronald Richard Branco whom she married on September 23, 2007, and who were together for twenty-nine years.
Born in Norwood, MA on April 19, 1960, she was a daughter of the late Robert "Doc" C. Halliday Jr., and the late Dorothy Helen (Ostrom) Halliday. She was raised and educated in her native community of North Attleboro and resided there until moving to Attleboro 30 years ago.
Rayanne was employed as a construction forewoman for Front Line, Inc. in Hopedale, MA, for the past 30 years.
A devout sports fan, she enjoyed the New England Patriots and the Boston Red Sox. Her favorite pastimes included playing keno, cooking for large family and friend gatherings at her home and attending the weekly meat raffle at the Cumberland Post #14. Her favorite time of the year was Christmas and the holiday season.
In addition to her husband, she leaves her two children: Danielle Silva-Powell and her husband, Greg Powell, of Seekonk, MA and Joshua R. Bray and his companion, Krystle Gray, of El Mirage, Arizona; ten grandchildren: Logan, Madison, Raegan, Caleb, Robbie, Tatum, Ashley, Stephanie, Erin and Shaun; her siblings: Edward Mackey Sr. and Brian Mackey both of Palmer, MA and Michele Wilson of Attleboro, MA and many nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Robert Mackey Jr. who died in 2002 and the late Brenda Young who died in 1996.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend Visitation on Thursday, January 6, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.
A Funeral Service will immediately follow at 7:00 p.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home.
Burial will be private.
