Raojibhai Manibhai Patel, 81, of Raynham, MA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 31, 2021 at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, MA. He was the beloved husband of Manjulaben Raojibhai Patel.
Born on July 1, 1939 in Gujarat, India, he was the son of the late Manibhai Patel and the late Hiraben Patel.
Raojibhai worked for many years in India as a farmer before retiring and coming to the United States in 2002.
A man of deep faith and devotion to his family, he enjoyed travel and always had a keen sense of fashion, whether it was the sunglasses, the watches, or even the fragrances he wore.
In addition to his wife, Manjulaben, he leaves his cherished daughter, Dayadasi Jayendra Patel and the adoring grandfather of Shrina Patel and Akash Patel, all of Raynham, MA. Raojibhai was predeceased by his siblings in India and leaves his extended family.
With strict adherence to all applicable COVID-19 precautions, including social distancing and the use of face masks, family and friends are invited to attend a Visitation and Hindu Ritual Service on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 from 12:00 Noon to 2:30 p.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, followed by a Traditional Hindu Service and Cremation Service at 3:00 p.m. at North Purchase Crematory, Attleboro, MA.
