Ralphina Ruth (Wood) Brown

Ralphina Ruth (Wood) Brown, LMHC, 91, of Wrentham, MA, a retired mental health counselor and clinical social worker, passed away on Friday, October 29, 2021, at the HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Facility in Providence, Rhode Island.
Born on August 28, 1930, she was a daughter of the late Ralph Leon Wood and the late Ethel Bernice (McMichael) Wood.  She was a resident of the Town of Wrentham for almost her entire life and was a graduate of the former Wrentham High School. Ms. Brown earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in mental health from the former Cambridge College.
Ms. Brown was a retired mental health counselor and clinical social worker having worked for Arbour Counseling Services prior to her retirement.
She was a attended and was a member of the Original Congregational Church in Wrentham, MA.
Ms. Brown enjoyed the times spent creatively writing, sewing, trips to Maine, particularly Wells and Ogunquit areas, and time spent with her beloved feline companions over the years.
She was the mother of Allyson M. Brown of Plainville, MA; Jeffrey D. Brown of Palm Bay, Florida and the late Holly Kessler who died in 1994.  In addition, she leaves six grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Visitation, services, and burial will be conducted privately.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to any local, non-profit animal shelter.
