Ralph J. Hyde

October 25, 1960 — June 23, 2022

Ralph "Mickey" James Hyde, 61, of Plainville, MA passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Thursday, June 23, 2022. He was the longtime loving companion of the late Leslie A. Kell who passed on October 26, 2016.
Born in Attleboro, MA on October 25, 1960, he was a son of the late Ralph Edward Hyde and the late Lily Ann (Pouliot) Hyde.  Raised and educated in the City of Attleboro, he was a 1979 graduate of Attleboro High School.  Mickey resided in Pawtucket, Rhode Island briefly before moving to Plainville more than 30 years ago.
He was employed as a warehouse foreman for Tighe Enterprises.
The Hyde family were communicants of St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church in Attleboro.
Mickey's love of life, kind heart, and warm embrace will be greatly missed.  He was a man of few words but was always there for those who needed a strong shoulder or supportive ear.   He enjoyed golfing and was often found out on the course enjoying the love of the sport with his closest friends.   As an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed mountain climbing and hiking in Franconia, New Hampshire.  He adored spending time tending to the garden he and Leslie created.
Mickey was a passionate sports fan, particularly of the Boston Bruins and New England Patriots.
Mickey leaves behind Shawn F. Hanrahan and his wife, Laura (Normandy) Hanrahan, of Wrentham, MA, and David A. Kell and his wife, Brenna (O'Brien) Kell, of North Smithfield, Rhode Island, and Ashley R. Kell in Indiana; two sisters: Deborah Jean LaMaistre and her husband, Leo LaMaistre, of Attleboro, MA and Jennifer Ann Costa and her husband, Luis Costa, of South Attleboro, MA; five grandchildren and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
