Pravinbhai H. Patel, 75, of Mendon, MA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 9, 2021, at Vibra Hospital of Western Massachusetts in Leicester, MA. He was the beloved husband of Urmilaben P. Patel.
Born in Munger, Bihar, India on January 8, 1946, he was the son of the late Haribhai K. Patel and the late Sushilaben H. Patel.
Raised and educated in India, he came to the United States in July 1995 and worked for in customer service for Dollar Rental in Oakland, CA. several years.
A man of strong faith and devotion to his cherished family, he enjoyed travel. Pravinbhai was an excellent cook and always enjoyed good Indian food.
In addition to his wife, Urmilaben, he leaves his loving children: Jigneshkumar P. Patel and his wife, Reenal Patel, of Cranston, RI; Samir P. Patel and his wife, Bhavini Patel, of Houston, TX; and Arpipa T. Patel and her husband, Trushar M. Patel, of Mendon, MA. He was the proud and adoring grandfather of seven grandchildren. Pravinbhai was the dear brother of Narendra Patel and his wife, Prativbhaaben Patel, of Union City, CA; Arunaben H. Patel and her husband, Harshadbhai Patel, of California; Kaminiben Patel and her husband, Maheshbhai Patel, of California; Nilaben Patel of California and her late husband, Vikrambhai Patel; and Nainaben Patel and her husband Navinbhai Patel, of California. He was the brother of the late Vanlilaben Patel. Pravinbhai leaves numerous nieces and nephews, his extended family, and many dear friends near and far.
Family and friends are cordially invited to attend Visitation and a Traditional Hindu Ritual Service on Sunday, December 12, 2021, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA, followed by a Traditional Final Prayer Service and Cremation Service at Woodlawn North Purchase Crematory, Attleboro, MA at 12:00 Noon.
