Prabha Joshi

Prabha (Talwalkar) Joshi, 74, of West Bridgewater, MA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital in Brockton, MA. She was the devoted wife of the late Shri Shaymsunder Joshi.Born on December 14, 1943 in India, she was the daughter of the late Srinivas Ganesh Talwalkar and the late Pramila Srinivas Talwalkar.Prabha enjoyed travelling and knitting and, more than anything, spending time with her loving and beloved family.She was the beloved mother of Vaijayanti Joshi and her husband, Aravind Bagepalli, of West Bridgewater, MA, and the cherished grandmother of Anish and Trisha. Prabha was the beloved sister of Prakash Talwalkar, Unmesha Talwalkar, and Bandu Talwalkar, and leaves behind several nieces and nephews and many dear friends.Family and friends are invited to attend a ritual Hindu funeral service on Thursday, December 21, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 Noon in the Memorial Chapel of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Ave., Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro. The Funeral and Prayer Service will continue at 12:00 Noon at Woodlawn North Purchase Crematory, Attleboro, MA.In accordance with Hindu tradition, visitors are kindly asked to wear casual, light-colored clothing (preferably white).
