Phyllis A. Wallace

Phyllis A. (Bohmbach) Wallace, 88, of Bugbee Street, Plainville, died on Sunday, November 10, 2013 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Joseph Wallace, who passed away on May 1, 2007 and to whom she married on September 27, 1944. Born in Boston, Massachusetts on June 8, 1925; she was a daughter of the late William and Mary (Dacey)Bohmbach. She was employed as a jewelry assembler at Donnelly's Manufacturing Company in North Attleboro for fifteen years, as well as a cafeteria worker at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro for ten years prior to her retirement. In addition to devoting herself to her family, Mrs. Wallace was known for her love of cooking, enjoying word search puzzles, and her "Nana-isms". She also enjoyed Friday night card games with friends. She attended St. Mary's Church in North Attleboro. Mrs. Wallace leaves eight children: Joseph R. Wallace and his wife Deborah of Franklin; Roberta A. Bristol and her husband Kenneth of North Attleboro; William W. Wallace and his wife Carole of Rehoboth; Lynne M. LaRochelle and her husband David of Norton; David R. Wallace of North Attleboro; Robert A. Wallace of North Attleboro; Bryan Wallace of Plainville; and Virginia L. Rubyck and her husband John of Plainville; twenty grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews including a very special nephew, Jim MacEachern of Deerfield, New Hampshire. She was predeceased by her sisters Gladys Bohmbach, Roberta Bohmbach and Virginia Mudge. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at 10:00 AM in St. Mary's Church, 14 Park Street, North Attleboro. A private burial will be held in Plainville Cemetery, Plainville at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Mrs. Wallace's name may be made to benefit HopeHealth Hospice, 765 Attucks Lane, Hyannis, MA 02601.
