Phillip P. Paquin, Sr., 78, of Attleboro, MA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, RI. He was the beloved husband of Linda L. (Ryan) Paquin, with whom he celebrated their Fiftieth wedding anniversary on April 1, 2017.Born on July 9, 1939 in Attleboro, MA, he was the son of the late George and Shirley I. (Johnson) Paquin.A graduate of Tolman High School, Class of 1957, he attended Bryant University and Bristol Community College. He was a lifelong resident of Attleboro.Phillip proudly served the City of Attleboro as a Police Officer for many years, retiring in 1985.He enjoyed coaching White Hawk football in South Attleboro from 1968 until 1980, having served as the League President; travel; and was an ardent fan of the New England Patriots. Phillip was a member of the Attleboro Elks and the South Attleboro American Legion. He especially loved spending time with his family and his cherished grandchildren.In addition to his wife, Linda, he is survived by his loving children: Phillip P. Paquin Jr., and his wife, Melissa J. (Colvin) Paquin, of Attleboro, MA; and Kyle Scott Paquin and his wife, Wendy (Langlois) Paquin, of Pittsfield, ME. He was the proud and adoring grandfather of Danielle, Nicole, Kyle, Kaitlyn, and Adam Paquin. Phillip was the brother of Shirley Parenteau of Plainville, MA, Gail Gould of Middleborough, MA, Linda Perkowski of Onset, MA, and the late Beatrice Waters, Sandra Lamoreaux, and Janet Soullier. Friends and family are cordially invited to attend a Memorial Service and Celebration of Life Service for Phillip on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at All Saints Episcopal Church, 121 North Main Street, Attleboro, MA. Please enter the church via the red door or the ramp. Additional parking is available across the street at the courthouse.
