Phillip E. LaVallee, 55, of North Attleborough, MA, passed away peacefully at home on February 11, 2022.
Phillip was born on July 12, 1966, to Anna Jane Doyle and Phillip Edward LaVallee, and was the stepson of David Wainwright Cook, all of whom preceded him in death.
Phillip graduated from the New England Institute of Technology in 1996 with a degree in Computer Programming Technology. His career as a Software Engineer spanned over 25 years, working in financial services for countless high-profile agencies, including Bose, Fidelity Investments, L.L. Bean, Barnes and Noble, Goldman Sachs, and the Federal Reserve. Most recently, Phillip was working as a Senior Release Engineer for SS&C Eze in Boston, MA.
Phillip's fondness for culinary adventures was profound. He had a passion for sitting around the table with his children, surrounded by refined foods from all cultures, sharing stories and laughter. But it was his love and knowledge of music that set him apart. When words escaped him, his ability to communicate through music offered a deeper perspective into the mind of a complex man. He will be forever connected to those he loved through song.
Phillip is survived by his 3 children: Amanda LaVallee and her fiancé David, of Taunton, MA; Danielle LaVallee of Providence, RI; and Christopher LaVallee and his partner Brittany, of North Attleborough, MA. He is also survived by his 2 sisters: Deb Linehan and her husband Terry, of Cranston, RI; and Dana Cook of Punta Gorda, FL.
Services and burial will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Phillip's honor may be made to the American Diabetes Association, American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116-7023 or online at
