Philip Wayne Heeks

Philip "Phil" Wayne Heeks, Sr., 71, of North Attleboro, unexpectedly passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, MA.Born on February 17, 1945 in Attleboro, MA, he was the son of the late Hiram Walker Heeks and Gertrude (Smith) Heeks. A resident of North Attleboro for the past twelve years, he retired in 1997 after having worked as a Pantograph Operator for Jostens, Inc. in Attleboro for more than twenty-three years.Phil was a man who looked forward to Saturday Night card games with his friends; family barbecues; Caribbean cruises; his two cats: "Jack" and Jill"; karaoke with his son Skip; puttering around the house; time spent with his friend, Bart; and simply being with his family.In addition to his wife, Janice (Miller) Fontaine, Phil is survived by his beloved children: Laura L. (Heeks) Gibbons, and her husband, Tom Gibbons, of North Attleboro, MA; Philip Wayne Heeks, Jr., and his wife, Joy M. (Levesque) Heeks of Attleboro, MA; and Ericka J. (Heeks) Perrico and her husband, Steve M. Perrico, of Woonsocket, RI. He was the brother of Frank Heeks of VA; Doris (Heeks) Cote of Attleboro, MA; David Heeks of Sharon, MA; and Lynn (Heeks) Raymond of Leominster, MA.
