Obituary

Peter James Spinelli, 43, of North Attleboro, Massachusetts, a loving husband and devoted father, passed away on Monday, April 27, 2026, in Providence, Rhode Island. Born in Boston, Massachusetts on November 24, 1982, he was a beloved son of Guy Spinelli, M.D., and Rosemonde (Reilly) Spinelli.

Growing up in Easton, Massachusetts, Peter received a Catholic education, graduating from Xaverian Brothers High School in Westwood, Massachusetts. He went on to study and earn a degree in Communications from Curry College in Milton, Massachusetts. Having a deep desire to serve his community, he earned his Emergency Medical Technician certification and passed his state board licensing examinations, becoming a licensed E.M.T. in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. While working for several ambulance services, Peter also studied for and completed his Paramedic program. His passion for helping others didn't stop there, he also worked for the New England Organ Bank, providing a vital service to those in need of a second chance at life. This foundation in the medical field propelled him into a career as a Hyperbaric Oxygen Technician.

Peter married his forever love, Jennilee (Alviti) Spinelli in Saint Mary's Church, North Attleboro, Massachusetts. It was in North Attleboro where Peter and Jennilee would settle down and raise their family. He was and will forever be a devoted and loving father to his two daughters, Viviana and Vera. Pete was the ultimate playmate for his girls. He provided so much laughter, dancing, and joy. He was always available for a good time, like playing Just Dance, with his nieces, nephews, and friends' kids. Pete was an avid sports fan; the Patriots were his team. He also loved fantasy football with his friends. Walt Disney World was one of his favorite places to vacation; he was the family trip coordinator. He also loved the thrill of Vegas with his sweetheart Jennilee. Having a knack for adventure, he loved skiing and snowboarding with his family and friends. He had an extensive love of music and Pete was a history and movie buff unlike any other.

In addition to his wife, Jennilee and his two daughters, Viviana and Vera, he leaves behind a large Italian family. He will be deeply loved and missed by his brother, Paul Spinelli and his wife, Meagan. He was also the cherished brother of Joia Spinelli and her partner, Adam. He was the devoted nephew of Stephen Spinelli and his partner, Marc Bordet, of Quincy, Massachusetts and Paul Reilly of Maryland. He was the loving uncle of Sonia and Lanna Spinelli. He had a special place in his heart for his many nieces and nephews. Peter was also the loving son-in-law of Ann Marie Parrillo, and her husband, Frank, of North Attleboro, and Steven Alviti and his wife, Lisa, of North Kingston, Rhode Island. In addition to his family, Peter had a deep love for his canine companion, Emerson, his pet beagle, who predeceased him. Emerson was with Pete through many of his life's milestones.

Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend Visitation on Monday, May 4, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, Massachusetts. A public hour of Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, followed by a Roman Catholic Funeral Service at 11:00 am in the "Memorial Chapel" of the funeral home officiated by Reverend David A. Costa, Pastor of the Transfiguration of the Lord Roman Catholic Parish.

Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery and Arboretum, 565 Mount Hope Street, North Attleboro, Massachusetts.
