Peter Francis Murray Jr.

Peter Francis Murray Jr., 68, of Attleboro, MA passed away suddenly on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, MA.  He was the husband of the late Deborah M. (Keating) Murray whom he married on November 30, 1985 in Boston, MA and who passed away on July 30, 2014.
Born in Boston, MA on July 12, 1952, he was a son of the late Peter Francis Murray, Sr., and the late Mary (Donovan) Murray.  He was a graduate of South Boston High School.
Mr. Murray was employed as a claim representative for the U.S. Government's Department of Labor.
A resident of the City of Attleboro for the past 32 years, he was a former resident of Quincy, MA.
Mr. Murray was a communicant of the former St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Attleboro, MA.
He enjoyed times spent fishing and golfing.
Mr. Murray leaves two sons: Peter F. Murray III of New York, NY, and Kevin W. Murray and his fiancé, Jennifer Loranger of Wilmington, MA; and his siblings: Maureen McLaughlin, Robert Murray, and Michael Murray all of Boston, MA.  He was expecting his first grandchild this coming October, and also leaves behind his nieces and nephews.
Private visitation was held on Thursday, March 18, 2021 in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA followed immediately by a funeral service.
Burial was private.
