Peter V. Donato, Jr.

Peter V. Donato, Jr., 76, of West Main Street, Norton, died on October 4, 2011 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro following a brief illness. He was the husband of the late Patricia Lorraine (Duffy) Donato who died on November 4, 1995 and to whom he was married at the former St. Mary Roman Catholic Church in Seekonk on June 11, 1960. Born in Patchogue, New York on August 16, 1935, he was a son of the late Peter V. Donato, Sr. and Joan Donato. He was raised and educated in Patchogue, New York. Mr. Donato resided in Norton for the past ten years having returned to the area from Florida. He attended the New Testament Baptist Church in Norton. Mr. Donato leaves four children: Peter E. Donato of Norton; Paul M. Donato of Atlanta, Georgia; Phillip V. Donato of Ft. Worth, Texas and Patricia J. Menicola of New Port Ritchie, Florida; seven grandchildren and his companion: Marilyn Page of Norton. He was the brother of the late James Donato. Visitation has been respectfully omitted. Burial will be private at Grace Memorial Gardens, Hudson, Florida.
