Pearl M. Cote, 66, of Attleboro, MA passed away following a period of declining health on August 4, 2026, at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, MA surrounded by her family.
Born in Attleboro, MA on October 26, 1959, she was one of twelve children of the late Ernest P. Cote, Sr. and the late Louise E. (Mendes) Cote. Raised in the City of Attleboro, MA, Pearl was later a graduate of North Attleboro High School.
She proudly worked in the kitchen at Wheaton College in Norton, MA for many years.
Pearl gave the ultimate gift of life as she was a liver donor following her death and it was soon after transplanted and saved a woman's life.
She loved traveling to Jamaica, Florida and Aruba and will be lovingly remembered for her hugs and sense of humor.
Pearl loved the WWF, going to Disney and proud to have seen Michael Jackson in concert.
She loved computer games, dancing, karaoke, and listening to Mo-Town music. She will be lovingly remembered for being nonjudgmental, loving everyone and often saying, "you're silly."
Left to mourn her loss are her siblings: Dolores Brooks, Joyce L. Taylor and Michael A. Cote, countless nieces and nephews and extended family members.
She was predeceased by her siblings: Beverly A. Avellar, Shirley Lopes, Henry Cote, Ronald Cote, Robert Cote, James Cote, Ernest P. Cote, Jr. and Richard G. Cote.
Family and friends are warmly welcome to attend Visitation on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA immediately followed by a funeral service at 7:00 pm in the "Memorial Chapel".
Burial will be private in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Taunton, MA.
