Pauline Anne Viera

Pauline Anne (Lemieux) Viera, 68, of Attleboro, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 22, 2018 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, MA. She was the beloved wife of David Wesley Viera, to whom she was married on April 24, 1971. Born on July 5, 1949 in Central Falls, RI, she was the daughter of the late Paul Maurice Lemieux and the late Rosalda (Varieur) Lemieux.Pauline was a graduate of Dighton Rehoboth High School, Class of 1968, and worked for many years as a Bookkeeper for Brask Enterprises, Inc. in Attleboro.A resident of Attleboro, MA, since 1971, she previously lived in Rehoboth, MA. Pauline attended Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church in Seekonk, MA. She was an ardent and avid fan of the Boston Red Sox, a longtime member of the Red Hat Club, and enjoyed collecting Coca Cola memorabilia, stamps, coins, and baseball cards. Pauline had a special place in her heart for her late dog, "Chance", and more than anything, cherished spending time with her loving family and grandchildren.In addition to her husband, David, she leaves her treasured daughter, Claudette A. Gilheeney and her husband, Sean P. Gilheeney, of Riverside, RI. She was the proud and adoring grandmother of Emma L. Gilheeney and William D. Gilheeney. Pauline was the sister of Helene Lizotte and her husband, Donald Lizotte, of Punta Gorda, FL; Lucille Amaral and her husband, Peter Amaral, of Rehoboth, MA; and Philip Lemieux and his wife, Laurinda Lemieux, of Rehoboth, MA. She was predeceased by her late brother, Gerard Lemieux and his wife Rebecca.
