Pauline R.M. Pothier, 79, of North Attleboro, passed away on Wednesday, April 13, 2016, at Life Care Center of Attleboro in Attleboro, MA. Born on November 12, 1936, in Fall River, MA, she was the daughter of the late Albert Antoine Pothier and the late Anita A. (Poisson) Pothier.A resident of Attleboro for the past four years, she previously lived in North Attleboro, MA. Pauline was a graduate of Dighton High School, Class of 1954. She was employed for more than twenty-five years as the Head of Maintenance for the Plainville School Department, and was a member of St. Mark's Roman Catholic Church in North Attleboro, where she enjoyed participation as a member of the St. Mark's Flower Group.Pauline's life was filled with a diversity of interests: She enjoyed knitting; crafts; gardening, especially flowers; painting and papering; working on cars, mechanical work; collecting frogs; and sports, particularly rooting for New England area teams.She was the dear sister of Maurice A. Pothier of Melbourne, FL; Jeanne L. (Pothier) Souza, and her husband, Francis Souza, of Taunton, MA; and Madeline T. (Pothier) Peasley, and her husband, Robert Peasley, of Rehoboth, MA; and leaves three generations of nieces and nephews.Friends and family are cordially invited to attend a Visitation on Saturday, April 16, 2016 from 8:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mark's Roman Catholic Church, 105 Stanley Street, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, with the Rev. Thomas A. Frechette, Pastor, officiating.Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Towne Street, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, at which time Pauline will be laid to rest alongside her late parents.
