Pauline M. Barselou

Pauline M. (Laliberte) Barselou, 80, life-long resident of Attleboro, passed away on Monday, March 3, 2014, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Bernard J. Barselou to whom she was married on September 15, 1956 in South Attleboro. Born in Attleboro on April 5, 1933, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Vadnais) Laliberte. She was employed as a credit analyst for Swank, Inc. in Attleboro for over twenty years. Mrs. Barselou belonged to the former St. Joseph's Church, where she was an Eucharistic Minister and a proud member of the St. Joseph's Women's Guild. She had also been a girl scout leader. Mrs. Barselou enjoyed spending time with her family and most cherished the times with her grandchildren. In addition to her husband of fifty-seven years; Pauline is survived by her three children: Katherine A. Tameo, of Barrington, RI; Carol A. Carpenter and her husband, Brian L. Carpenter of Berkley, MA; Michael B. Barselou and his wife, Celia Barselou of Haverhill, MA; one sister: Alice McGill of Rehoboth, MA; two sister-in-laws: Joyce Laliberte of North Scituate, RI and Pauline Laliberte of South Attleboro; and her four beloved grandchildren: Melissa Desrochers, Matthew Tameo, Jacob Carpenter and Dylan Carpenter. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings; Annette Boyle, Florence Boyle, Madeline Landry, Norman Laliberte, Robert Laliberte, Paul "Bunky" Laliberte and Mary McCann. Family and friends are cordially invited to attend visitation on Thursday, March 6, 2014 from 5:00-8:00 PM in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home - the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right, mile on the left), Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend funeral services on Friday, March 7, 2014 at 10:00 AM in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home. Childrens room is available during the visitation and funeral service. Burial will be private.
