Paula Scott

Paula E. (Fitts) Scott, 70, of Seekonk, MA, peacefully passed away at her home on Thursday, March 10, 2016. She was the beloved wife of Joseph R. Scott, Jr.Born on November 1, 1945 in Newton, MA, she was the daughter of the late Howard Fitts and the late Katharine (Gruenewald) Fitts.Paula was a graduate of Wellesley High School, Class of 1963, and received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Boston University.She worked for many years as a Secretary at Middlesex School in Concord, MA before retiring to care for her family. She resided in Seekonk for the past ten years, having previously lived in Concord.Paula enjoyed gardening, and was a supporter of the goals and mission of the World Wildlife Fund. Her love and dedication to her family will be her legacy.In addition to her husband, she leaves her children: Dr. Julie (Scott) Taylor, Christine (Scott) Thomson, and Andrew Scott. Paula was the adoring grandmother of five grandchildren. She is survived by her brother, Howard Fitts, and five nieces and nephews.Visitation has respectfully been omitted.
