Paul H. Munns

Paul H. Munns, 52, of Pineland Drive, Plainville, died on Thursday, July 17, 2014 at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Hospice in Providence, Rhode Island. He was the husband of Clare A. (Sullivan) Munns to whom he was married on April 22, 2006. Born in Norwood, Massachusetts on February 2, 1962, he was the son of the late Daniel E. and Pauline M. (Hoobin) Munns. Raised and educated in Norton, Mr. Munns was a 1980 graduate of Norton High School. He resided in North Attleboro prior to moving to Plainville 9 years ago. Mr. Munns was employed as a maintenance engineer for Cintas in Cumberland, Rhode Island. His favorite pastimes included snowmobiling, camping, bowling, riding ATVs and time spent with his wife and family in their Vermont home. He was "best friends" with his one-year old yellow Labrador, "Sully". In addition to his wife, he leaves two sons: Michael D. Munns and his wife, Kate (Almond) Munns of Scituate, Rhode Island and James P. Munns and his wife, Michelle L. (Donnelly) Munns, of Cumberland, Rhode Island; two stepsons: Richard A. Martin, Jr. and Ryan A. Martin both of Plainville; two grandchildren: Taylor J. Munns and Cole Munns both of Scituate, Rhode Island; two sisters: Beverly J. Munns and her partner, Donna M. Kaminsky, of Manchester, Connecticut and Deborah M. Hampton and her husband, Michael J. Hampton, of Vernon, Connecticut; a niece: Emily Hampton; three nephews: Mathew Kaminsky, Kyle Munns and Samson Hampton and extended family members and many dear friends. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visitation on Monday, July 21, 2014 from 10:00 - 11:00 AM in the "Memorial Chapel" of the DYER-LAKE FUNERAL HOME, 161 Commonwealth Avenue (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right at end of ramp, mile on left), Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro. Family and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service immediately following visitation on Monday, July 21, 2014 at 11:00 AM in the "Memorial Chapel" of the DYER-LAKE FUNERAL HOME, 161 Commonwealth Avenue (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right at end of ramp, mile on left), Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro with the Rev. Carole L. Baker, Pastor of the Central Congregational Church, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, officiating. Burial will follow in Timothy Plain Cemetery, Norton. Please omit flowers. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Mr. Munns' memory may be made to the American Cancer Society - Centralized Memorial Processing Center, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
