Paul K. Meyer

Paul Kenneth Meyer, Jr., 71, of Attleboro, MA passed away peacefully on October 15, 2021, at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, MA from complications associated with acquiring Covid-19.  He was the husband of Susan J. (Higginbotham) Meyer to whom he was married on December 15, 1979.
Born in Attleboro, MA on August 12, 1950, he was a son of the late Paul Kenneth Meyer, Sr. and the late Isabelle (Silva) Meyer.  He was a lifelong resident of the City of Attleboro.
Mr. Meyer has been employed as a tuber operator for Stearn Leach and LeachGarner in Attleboro for many years.
He proudly and honorably served his country as a member of the United States Navy.
A longtime supporter of the Boy Scouts of America, Mr. Meyer was a boy scout leader for Troop 37 in Attleboro for many years.
He attended the former St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church and later, St. Vincent de Paul Parish in Attleboro.
His favorite pastimes included watching NASCAR races, bowling, working on cars, his scouting activities and freshwater fishing.   However, his truest love was creating memories with his family, particularly his grandchildren.
In addition to his wife of almost 42 years, he leaves his children: Scott Blessinger of Hawthorne, Florida; Kendra J. McAbee and her husband, Michael McAbee, of Attleboro, MA and Kyle Meyer and his wife, Donna Meyer, of Attleboro, MA; his grandchildren: Cody Abreu, Madison McAbee, and Melody Meyer; his siblings: Pauline Bussiere in Florida and Linda Meyer of Attleboro, MA.  His brother, Kenneth Meyer, of Attleboro, MA passed away on October 18, 2021.  He leaves several nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends.
Visitation, funeral services, and burial are private.
