Paul Michael Mcguire

Paul Michael McGuire, 71, of Johnston, Rhode Island, passed away on Thursday, February 9, 2023, at HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence, Rhode Island. He was the beloved husband of Valerie Jean McGuire whom he was married on May 27, 1984.
Born on April 25th, 1951, in Tewksbury, Massachusetts, he was a son of the late Robert "Red" McGuire and the late Dorothy (Hutton) McGuire.
Paul was the proud owner and operator of the cleaning company, Arlmont Carpet & Upholstery Cleaners, in Johnston, Rhode Island which was in business from 1983 - 2017.
His favorite pastime was being with his family. Whether they were going on an adventure or just spending time around the house, he valued their time together. Paul enjoyed motorcycle riding and traveling worldwide. He also would like to make trips to go downhill skiing for the weekend.
Paul will be remembered for his love of technology. He also was a gadget guy and was fond of using the latest and greatest of what the newest technology had to offer.
Paul was also known as an animal lover. He provided a loving and caring home to over 40 animals over the years. He also had an appreciation for music, especially for the group Santana and would also enjoy listening to rap and Motown. When he was looking to have some quality quite time, he could be found getting lost in the pages of a good book.
In addition to his wife, he leaves his sons: Timothy S. Yablonsky, of Camden, Delaware, and Paul M. McGuire, of Wyndham, New Hampshire; his grandchildren: Madison, Alex, Nicole, Michael, Anthony and Shawn and great grandchildren: Callie, McKenzie and Shea as well as many extended family members and friends.
A Private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
