Paul Raymond Jacobs, Jr., 75, of Attleboro, MA passed away on January 25, 2025, at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, MA.
Born in Providence, Rhode Island on September 24, 1949, he was a son of the late Paul Raymond Jacobs, Sr and the late Anita E. (Langlois) Jacobs.
Raised and educated in the City of Attleboro, he was a 1967 graduate of Bishop Feehan High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Bryant College in 1971.
He was employed in the banking industry as a mutual fund accountant having worked for State Street Bank in Quincy, MA for several years.
Later, Mr. Jacobs owned a construction company and modular home business.
In earlier years, he was a communicant of the former St, Stephen’s Church in the Dodgeville section of Attleboro and later at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs, Seekonk, MA.
He was a member of the Attleboro City Democratic Committee and was an ardent softball player having traveled often to Maine to participate in tournaments.
As an animal lover, he cherished his white German Shepards: Thunder, Bear and Storm. He will be remembered for his love for family and friends and his generosity. He would help anyone at any time regardless of how he was feeling.
Left to mourn his loss and cherish mutual memories are his twin siblings: Gayle A. Jacobs of Attleboro, MA and Gery N. Jacobs of Attleboro, MA; his niece: Sherri Parker and her husband, Thomas Parker, of Attleboro, MA; his nephew: Joseph A. Borges, Jr. and his wife, Rachel Borges, of South Attleboro, MA; and his great nieces and nephews: Kacey Parker; Lindsay Perron and her husband, Ryan Perron; and Evan, Jacob, Heyden and Taylar Borges.
Family and friends are warmly invited to attend visitation on Saturday, February 8, 2025, from 9:00 am until 11:00 am in the “Memorial Chapel” of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA followed by a Celebration of Life at 11:00 am.
Burial will follow in St. Stephen’s Cemetery, South Main Street, Attleboro, MA.
