Paul Alan Grenier, 75, of Attleboro, MA passed away at his residence on July 22, 2024. He leaves his devoted wife, Wanda Lee (Gross) Grenier.
Born in Providence, Rhode Island on April 2, 1949, he was a son of the late Ronald W. Grenier and the late Dorothy D. (Sanville) Grenier.
He was a proud veteran of the United States Coast Guard.
Raised and educated in Cumberland, Rhode Island. Mr. Grenier was employed by North Atlantic States Carpenters, Local Union #52 Boston, Massachusetts and Local Union # 342 in Central Falls, Rhode Island where he served his Union as Financial Secretary and was known as "Tall Paul from the Hall". Notable projects included The Jamestown Bridge and The Big Dig.
His favorite pastimes included gardening, traveling and song collection. Also, meeting with friends at the Cumberland A.C. Where his longtime friends called him, "Grenades".
In earlier years, he was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, Attleboro, MA.
In addition to his wife of 44 years, he leaves his siblings: Peter Grenier and his wife, Lynn Grenier, of Fellsmere, Florida; Elizabeth Kay of Cumberland, Rhode Island and Dolores Grenier of Longs, South Carolina; members of his wife's family: Kenneth Morrill and his wife, Suzanne Morrill, of Auburn, NH; Christine Corriveau and her husband, Ron Corriveau, of Bow, New Hampshire and Derek Gross of Attleboro, MA.
In addition, he was an uncle and great uncle to several nieces and nephews
He was the brother of the late Catherine Iacovone and the late Madeleine Grenier, He was the brother-in-law of the late Karen M. Gross.
