Paul Francis Farquharson, 68, of North Attleboro, MA, a native of Wrentham, MA, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on July 28, 2026, at RegalCare in Taunton, MA following an illness that began last October. He was the best friend and beloved husband of Joan M. (Carey) Farquharson to whom he was married on August 10, 1985.

Born in Boston, MA on March 27, 1958, he was the third son of the late Robert Joseph Farquarson, Sr. and the late Marion A. (Butts) Farquharson. He was raised and educated in Wrentham and was a 1975 graduate of King Philip Regional High School. He and his wife have been residents of North Attleboro for 35 years and raised their three children in the community.

Mr. Farquharson served as a Boy Scout Leader for Annawon Council for many years.

He enjoyed countless summers at Cooper Pond in Piscataquis County, Maine with his high school friends that he had remained friends with for many years.

A true outdoorsman, he enjoyed camping, hiking, and time spent in the North Conway region of New Hampshire.

He treasured the time spent with his two grandchildren and going to the NFL draft and attending the New England Patriots training camp with his brother Bob each year.

He will be lovingly remembered for his strong work ethic that served as an example to his children, his love for sports and watching Westerns on television.

He was the father of Matthew Paul Farquharson of North Attleboro, MA and Catherine Jean (Farquharson) Casey and her husband, Adam Casey, of North Attleboro, MA; and the late David Patrick Farquharson who died on March 18, 2021; grandfather of Owen Casey and Emerson Casey both of North Attleboro, MA; brother of: Robert J. Farquharson III and his wife, Susan (Gaskill) Farquharson, of Norton, MA; Steven Farquharson and his wife, Basilia (Mota) Farquharson, of North Attleboro, MA; Gary Farquharson of North Attleboro, MA; Kelly (Farquharson) Munro and her husband, Ronald Munro, of Bartlett, NH and the late Jean Farquharson who died in 1984; and several nieces, nephews, extended family members and many lifelong and dear friends.

Family and friends are cordially invited to attend Visitation on Friday, August 7, 2026, from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA immediately followed by a funeral service at 7:00 pm in the "Memorial Chapel".

Burial will be private.
