Patrick A. Stephenson, 60, of Attleboro, MA passed away on December 1, 2024, at the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Boston, MA after having been surrounded by his loving family during his illness. He was the husband of Theresa M. DeLuca Stephenson to whom he was married on September 15, 2024.
Born in Fall River, Massachusetts on October 2, 1964, he was a son of Eileen L. (Souza) Stephenson of Fall River, MA and the late Edmund Earl Stephenson Jr. Raised and educated in his native community, he was a graduate of Durfee High School - Class of 1982 and earned a bachelor's degree in exercise science from the former Bridgewater State College.
Mr. Stephenson was previously employed as a correctional officer for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and later worked as a personal trainer at Planet Fitness and LA Fitness as well as at Douglas Liquors in North Attleboro, MA.
His favorite pastimes included exercising, fishing and hunting but treasured time spent with his wife and granddaughter most of all.
In addition to his wife and mother, he leaves his children: Brendon Stephenson and his wife, Brittaney, of Fall River, MA; Victoria Stephenson of New York City, NY; Jake Stephenson and his companion, Lily, of Fall River, MA and Katelyn Waite and her husband, Chris, of North Attleboro, MA; his granddaughter: Madelyn Waite of North Attleboro, MA; his siblings: Edmund E. Stephenson III and his wife, Deborah, of Dartmouth, MA and Dory Martin and her husband, Chris, of Fall River, MA; nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends.
He was the father of the late Shayne Stephenson who died in 2013.
