Patrick James Skrabec, 21, of North Attleboro, passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, MA. He was the beloved son of Neil P. Skrabec and Mary Ann (Collins) Skrabec of North Attleboro, MA. He was born on June 5, 1995 in Ephrata, PA. Patrick was a graduate of North Attleboro High School, Class of 2014, attended St. Mark's Church in Attleboro Falls, and most recently worked for Shaws Market. A gentle soul with an adventurous spirit, he had been a member of the Boy Scouts of America, and enjoyed fishing, taking walks and hiking, and more recently, cooking. Patrick will be sorely missed by his "Mason", his five-year old Beagle. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his loving siblings: his brother, Stuart R. Skrabec of Archer, FL, and his sister, Angela R. Skrabec of North Attleboro, MA. He was the adoring grandson of Doris J. Skrabec of Cranberry Town, PA, and the late Quentin R. Skrabec; and Minna B. Collins of Buffalo, NY, and the late William J. "Bill" Collins, Jr., who recently passed away. He leaves many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Friends and family are cordially invited to attend a Visitation on Thursday, October 27, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home - the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right at end of ramp, ¾ mile on the left), Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro. Thomas A. Frechette, Pastor, officiating. Burial will be private.
