POWERS, Patrick R. Jr. On Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at the age of 70. Former spouse of the late Marjorie M. (Smith) Powers. Father of Patrick Powers and his wife, Lisa (McDonald) Powers, of North Attleboro. Grandfather of Nicole, Noah and John Powers all of North Attleboro. Brother of Joan Shanks of Cotuit; Eleanor Sclafani in FL; Ellen Risteen of Everett; Edward Powers of Plaistow, NH; Richard Powers in FL and Kenneth Powers of Melrose. Uncle of nineteen nieces and nephews. Residence: North Attleboro; formerly of Malden and Everett. Visitation with Veteran's Honors on Monday from 5:00 - 8:00 PM in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right at end of ramp, mile on left), North Attleboro. Funeral cortege will depart on Tuesday at 11:30 AM from the funeral home for a 12:45 PM committal service with full military honors at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne. There will be no services within the funeral home prior to departing for the committal service. Those unable to join the funeral procession are cordially invited to proceed directly to the cemetery. Due to the limitation of flowers accepted at the cemetery, please omit flowers.
