Patricia M. (Curran) Young, 76, of North Attleboro, MA passed away peacefully at the Hope Health Hospice Center in Providence, RI on Saturday, October 17, 2026, after having been surrounded by her loving family and in the presence of her strong faith. She was the beloved and cherished wife of John R. Young, to whom she was married on August 22, 1970.

Born in Boston, MA on May 3, 1950, she was a daughter of the late Francis P. Curran and the late Patricia (Donovan) Curran.

As a registered nurse, she was employed at the Carney Hospital in Dorchester and later as an operating room technician for New England Eye Surgical Center for many years prior to her retirement.

A woman of strong religious convictions, she was a longtime faithful communicant of the Transfiguration of the Lord Parish - St. Mark Roman Catholic Church in Attleboro Falls.

She served her church family as a Eucharistic minister, lector, confirmation teacher, church fair volunteer, and active member of the St. Paul de Vincent Society.n She was awarded the Marian Medal by the Diocese of Fall River in 2001.

Mrs. Young had also been a volunteer at Bishop Feehan High School in Attleboro.

In addition to her husband of 56 years, she leaves her devoted daughter: Lynne M. Gorman and her husband, Jarrod Gorman, of Plainville, MA; two grandsons: Brendan M. Gorman and John S. Gorman both of Plainville, MA; her brothers: Lawrence M. Curran of Rockland, MA and Joseph P. Curran of Plymouth, MA; seven nieces and nephews and extended family members and dear friends.

She was predeceased by her parents and her sister, Cecelia L. Curran.

Family and friends are welcome to attend visitation on Thursday, October 22, 2026, from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.

All are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, October 23, 2026, at 10:00 am at the Transfiguration of the Lord Parish - St. Mark, Stanley Street, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro.

There will be no funeral cortege from the funeral home prior to the Funeral Mass.

Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery and Arboretum, Mount Hope Street, North Attleboro.

Please omit flowers. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Pat's name may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society, 14 Park Street, North Attleboro, MA 02760.
