Patricia Ann (Grimaldi) Sacco, 90, of Park Street, Attleboro; formerly of Hawkins Road, North Attleboro, died on Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at the Life Care Center of Attleboro. She was the beloved wife of the late Aldo Leo Sacco to whom she was married on September 20, 1950 and who died on May 24, 2005. Born in North Attleboro, Massachusetts on August 20, 1921, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Loretta (Cavalieri) Grimaldi. She was a lifelong resident of North Attleboro. Mrs. Sacco was the co-owner and operator, along with her husband, of Aldos Pizza on North Washington Street in North Attleboro, a business started in 1947 and operated for decades until Mr. and Mrs. Sacco retired in 1998. She was a communicant of St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church in North Attleboro. She enjoyed traveling with her husband to places like Italy, Spain and Florida. Her favorite pastimes were those creating lifelong memories with her beloved and cherished family. She leaves three children: Loretta A. (Sacco) Dowdall and her husband, Michael J. Dowdall, of North Attleboro; Robert L. Sacco and his wife, Robin (Cotter) Sacco, of Windermere, Florida and A. Dennis Sacco and his wife, Anne-Marie (Bellavance) Sacco, of Port Richey, Florida; five grandchildren: Christopher Sacco in Florida; Kari (Sacco) Russo and her husband, David Russo, in Florida; Nicholas Sacco in Florida; Kristen L. Dowdall of North Attleboro and Briana M. Dowdall of South Boston; three great grandchildren: Vera Martin of North Attleboro and Matthew Sacco and Kayla Russo both in Florida; two sisters: Antonette I. Ruggio of North Attleboro and Eleanor Legere of North Attleboro; several nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends. Family and friends are cordially invited to attend visitation on Sunday, November 6, 2011 from 4:00 7:00 PM in the Memorial Chapel of Dyer-Lake Funeral Home the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right at end of ramp, mile on left), Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro. David A. Costa, Pastor, officiating. There will be no funeral cortege from the funeral home prior to the commencement of the Funeral Mass. Following the Funeral Mass, an invitation will be extended to join the family for a time of continued fellowship, refreshments and remembrance at a location to be announced.
