Patricia Clara Pappa

Patricia Clara (Brooks) Pappa, 74, of Park Street, Attleboro; formerly of Collins Street, Attleboro, died on March 20, 2015 at the Life Care Center of Attleboro. She was the wife of the late Anthony Pappa who died on December 1, 1977. Born in Providence, Rhode Island on September 7, 1940, she was a daughter of the late Henry Walter Brooks, Sr. who died in 1984 and Madeline "Midge" T. (Clarke) Brooks who died in 2005. She was employed as a store detective for many companies including Stop & Shop in Attleboro, various locations of Building 19 and for the former Ann & Hope retail store prior to her retirement in 2012. She resided in the City of Attleboro since 1984 having moved to the community from Cumberland, Rhode Island. She leaves two sons: Norman L. Pappa and his wife, Denise A. (Bachand) Pappa of West Warwick, RI and Bruce Wayne Pappa and his wife, Pauline (Jorge) Pappa of Ooltewah, Tennessee; three grandchildren: Emily, Cassie and Allie Papa and several extended family members and friends. She was the sister of the late Carol Ann Tapley and Henry W. Brooks, Jr. Visitation respectfully omitted. Family and friends are cordially invited to attend a chapel service at Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket, Rhode Island on Friday, June 26, 2015 at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Mrs. Pappa's name may be made to the Resident Activites Fund of the Life Care Center of Attleboro, 969 Park Street, Attleboro, MA 02703.
