Patricia A. Harrop

Patricia "Mickey" A. Harrop, 62, of Hodges Street, Attleboro, died unexpectedly at her residence on Thursday, July 31, 2014 following a long illness. Born in Attleboro, Massachusetts on September 30, 1951, she was a daughter of the late Charles F. and Ada Mae (Shaw) Blanchard. She was raised and educated in North Attleboro and resided in the community for most of her life. She was employed as a power press operator for J & L Tool in North Attleboro for five years prior to her retirement in 1994. Mrs. Harrop attended Central Congregational Church in the Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro. She leaves a daughter: Andrea J. Eastman and her husband, Rob Eastman, of Lake Worth Florida; a sister: Nancy Harold and her husband, William Harold, of Newport, New Hampshire and two nephews: William and Timothy. Visitation has been respectfully omitted. Family and friends are cordially invited to attend a graveside funeral service on Friday, August 8, 2014 at 12:00 Noon at Mount Hope Cemetery and Arboretum, 565 Mount Hope Street, North Attleboro. Burial will follow. Memorial donations in her name and honor may be made to any of the following organizations: the Disabled American Veterans, the National Arthritis Foundation or the Brockton Veteran's Administration Medical Center.
