Patricia A. Goodwin (Machado) 78, of North Providence, RI., passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, December 22, 2024 at Hope Hospice & Palliative Care in Providence, RI. She was the beloved wife of the late William Goodwin.
Born in Fall River, MA., on March 4, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Mary (Point) Machado. Patricia graduated from East Providence High School in Rhode Island.
Patricia held several positions throughout her life before retiring from Bank of America in 2008, allowing her to spend more time with her loved ones. In her leisure time, Patricia enjoyed camping at Schroon Lake in New York with her husband Bill where she cherished the serene environment. Patricia also had a passion for solving crossword puzzles, she loved watching Judge Judy and wrestling.
She was a devoted homemaker, loved to cook for her family and spending time with her grandkids.
Overall, Patricia’s life was a tapestry of cherished family moments. Her legacy is one of dedication, love and a zest for life that warmed the hearts of all that knew her.
She is survived by her loving children, Dawn Haines and her husband Philip of North Attleboro, MA., Jennifer Rezendes and her husband Alan Buglass; Newport-on-Tay, Scotland and Sherri-Lyn Malloch and her husband Dana of North Providence, RI. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Lauren and her husband Eric, Ella, Kyle, Aubrey, Spencer, Alanna, and Tessa; dear great-grandchildren, Melleina, Eric II and Saniyah; her devoted siblings, in-laws and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Family and friends are warmly welcome to attend Visitation on Monday, January 13, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the “Memorial Chapel” of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.
All are welcome January 14th, 2025, to join the Mass of Christian Burial, 11:00 a.m. at the Transfiguration of the Lord Parish - St. Mary’s Church, 14 Park Street, North Attleboro, MA.
