Patricia "Pat" Diane (Wynott) Hornbuckle, 74, of Attleboro, MA, passed away peacefully of natural causes on Tuesday, March 23, 2021.
Born on May 15, 1946 in Stoughton, MA, she was the daughter of the late Herbert Wynott and the late Lorraine Wynott.
Raised and educated in Stoughton, Patricia was a graduate of Stoughton High School, Class of 1964.
A longtime resident of Attleboro, she proudly served that community for over forty-five years before retiring: having driven the K-12 school bus for over than ten years; being instrumental in the scouting program for several years; and working at the Attleboro Senior Center. Her employment with Home Instead of Attleboro then brought many years of grace to Patricia's own final years as she helped several elders transition with their families within the Greater Attleboro Area community.
A warm, caring, outgoing woman who was always quick to smile, Patricia cherished new opportunities for traveling and visiting family. At home, she could frequently be found puttering in the yard, chatting with neighbors, and tending to her annuals and perennials until dusk.
Patricia was the loving mother of Charles "Chuckie" A. Hornbuckle and his partner, Theresa Blais, of Middleboro, MA, and Calley A. Hornbuckle of Rossville, GA. She leaves her only surviving brother, Philip D. Wynott; many wonderful nieces and nephews; a host of cousins; and many dear friends.
Patricia was the sister of the late Lorraine E. Russo, the late Herbert Wynott, Jr., and the late Douglas Wynott.
A Private Celebration of Life will be held by family and close friends in May 2021.
