Patricia A. Cotterill

Patricia Ann (Theodore) Cotterill, 78, of Attleboro, MA passed away peacefully yet unexpectedly at her residence on Sunday, January 24, 2021.
Born in Attleboro, MA on December 4, 1942, she was a daughter of the late Ernest Joseph Theodore and the late Bellmedia "Bella" Alves (Souza) Theodore.
She was raised and educated in North Attleboro, MA where she was a graduate of North Attleboro High School.  She lived for many years in Norton, MA before moving to Attleboro, MA ten years ago.
She was employed by the Town of Norton - Treasurer's Office and later worked as a certified nursing assistant at the Village at Willow Crossings in Mansfield, MA.
Patricia will be lovingly remembered for her tender, caring way of helping others, particularly the elderly.
A stylish and elegant woman, the cherished memories of her will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Ms. Cotterill was a communicant of the Transfiguration of the Lord Parish - St. Mark in Attleboro Falls, MA.
She and her mother loved to travel, take cruises, and visit Graceland in years past.
Left to mourn her loss are two sons: Christopher M. Cotterill and his partner, Kristy Lyn Burdo, of South Burlington, VT, and Scott Michael Cotterill, Sr. of Norton, MA; three grandchildren: Jessica Lynn Reavill of North Attleboro, MA; Scott Michael Cotterill, Jr. of Norton, MA and Devin Walter Cotterill of Norton, MA; five great grandchildren: Caitlin Reavill, Hailey Reavill, Nova Cotterill, Milo Cotterill and Iris Cotterill; her sister-in-law: Carol Ann (Smith) Theodore of North  Attleboro, MA; her niece: Heather J. (Theodore) Crowley and her husband, Michael F. Crowley III and their children: Michael F. Crowley IV and Campbell Crowley all of Wrentham, MA; her dear friend of many decades: Katy Mulcahy of Attleboro, MA; her feline companion: "Maggie" and many extended relatives and friends.
She was the sister of the late Thomas John Theodore who died on March 21, 2004 and the late James L. Theodore and was the paternal grandmother of the late Christopher Lawrence Cotterill who died on August 31, 2019.
Private services will be held on Saturday, May 8, 2021 in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.
Burial will be private.
