Patricia Ann Coccia

Patricia Ann (Wheaton) Coccia, 62, of Taunton, MA, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 19, 2018 at the Nemasket Healthcare Center in Middleboro, MA.  She was the beloved wife of John Anthony Coccia Sr.
Born on April 10, 1956 in Taunton, she was the daughter of the late Donald Edwin Wheaton and the late Cynthia T. (Ferreira) Wheaton.
Patricia worked for many years in the factory of Eureka Manufacturing in Norton, MA, followed by a few years at Swank Inc. in Attleboro, before retiring in 2014.
A lifelong resident of Taunton, she enjoyed nature, camping, and visits to the beach. Patricia She loved angels, had a special place in her heart for her dog, "Cinnamon", and truly more than anything in her life, she loved her family and her cherished grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, John, she leaves her loving children:  Melissa Ann Silvia and her husband, Mark William Silvia, of Taunton, MA; and John Anthony Coccia Jr., and his wife, Rachel A. (Sera) Coccia, of Taunton, MA.  She was the proud and adoring grandmother of Amanda Ann Benevides, Breanna Marie Coccia, and Caleb James Coccia.  She was the dear sister of Robert Allen Wheaton of Taunton, MA, and the late Gary Wheaton.  Patricia leaves several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are cordially invited to attend a Funeral Service and Celebration of Patricia's Life on Friday, November 30, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Community Covenant Church, 615 Tremont Street, Rehoboth, MA.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Patricia to The Susan G.
