Patricia "Pat" Anne Carvalho

Patricia "Pat" Anne (O'Connell) Carvalho, 79, of North Attleboro, MA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, MA.  She was the beloved wife of Robert "Bob" A. Carvalho, to whom she was married on August 11, 1962.
Born on November 27, 1939 in Attleboro, MA, she was the daughter of the late Edwin J. and Margaret M. (Gayton) O'Connell.
A lifelong resident of North Attleboro, Pat was a graduate of North Attleboro High School, Class of 1957.  She worked for many years at the former Texas Instruments in Attleboro, and in the administrative offices of Sisters of Mercy in Cumberland, RI, before retiring in 1997.
A woman of great faith and devotion to the Blessed Mother, she was a life member of St. Mary's Church in North Attleboro.  Pat was a loving homemaker who, more than anything, cherished being with her family and being at home. She was an avid reader, enjoyed watching the Red Sox and Patriots, and took great pride in her Irish heritage.
In addition to her husband, Bob, she leaves her loving children: Robert J. Carvalho and his wife, Kimberly J. (Harvey) Carvalho, of Winchester, VA; Michael D. Carvalho and his wife, Stacey A. (L'Horty) Carvalho, of Rehoboth, MA; and Daniel F. Carvalho and his wife, Tina M. (Forss) Carvalho, of Selkirk, NY.  She was the proud and adoring grandmother of Heather Elizabeth Carvalho, Whitley R. Carvalho, Emily Grace Carvalho, Amanda M. Carvalho, and James Maxwell Carvalho.  Pat was the dear sister of Joan E. Lake and her husband, Ronald H. Lake, of North Attleboro, MA; the late John F. O'Connell and his wife, Judith (Cerrone) O'Connell, of North Attleboro, MA; the late Jerome J. O'Connell; and the late James M. O'Connell.   She leaves her nieces: Lauriann M. DeFaria and her husband, Carlos R. DeFaria, of North Attleboro, MA; and Erin L. Ganley and her husband, Sean Ganley, of Hyannis, MA; and many dear friends.
Friends and family are cordially invited to honor and remember Pat by gathering for a Visitation on Monday, December 17, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend the Funeral Service on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at 8:30 a.m. from the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, North Attleboro, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, 14 Park Street, North Attleboro, MA.
Graveside services will immediately follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Attleboro Falls, MA.
