Patricia "Patty" Ann Charette

Patricia "Patty" Ann Charette, 55, of North Attleboro, MA, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, July 7, 2017 with her beloved family by her side. Born on February 17, 1962 in Attleboro, MA, Patty  was the daughter of the late Leo Romeo Charette and the late Mary Margaret (Simkins) Charette.A lifelong resident of North Attleboro, Patty was a graduate of North Attleboro High School, Class of 1980. She worked for many years as a self-employed Day Care provider and for the Hockomock YMCA.Patty enjoyed the simple things in life: camping and watching the beauty of hummingbirds, which she believed were sent from heaven. The overwhelming love of Patty's life was her family, especially her cherished grandchildren; she seemed to always have a special place in her heart for all children. She was the beloved wife of Raymond W. Brockmann for twenty-seven years. In addition to her husband, she leaves her loving children: Alicia L. Bentley and her husband, Adam H. Bentley, of Coventry, RI; and Leo G. Larocque and his wife, Heather E. Ripley, of Attleboro, MA. Patty was the adoring grammy of Angelina, Leo, Jada, Rylan, Brayden, and Colton, and was excitingly looking forward to the upcoming birth of a new grandchild. She was the dear sister of Christopher L. Charette and his wife, Susan I. Charette, of Mansfield, MA; John J. Charette and his wife, Sandy Charette, of Walpole, MA; James M. Charette and his wife, Leslie Charette, of North Attleboro, MA; and the late Barrie Arsenault. She leaves several nieces and nephews, extended family, and dear friends.Friends and family are invited to gather and remember Patty at a Visitation on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA, immediately followed by a Funeral Service at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Children's room is available during visitation and funeral service.Burial will be private.
