Otto Alex Mueller, Jr.

Otto Alex Mueller, Jr., 77, of Cedar Road, North Attleboro, died on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at the Epoch Senior Healthcare Center of Norton where he had been a resident for over two weeks. He was the husband of the late Claire Theresa (Lachance) Mueller to whom he was married on August 9, 1991 and who died on September 23, 2009. Born in Wuppertal, Germany on February 15, 1934, he was a son of the late Otto Alex Mueller, Sr. and Meta (Cleff) Mueller. He immigrated to Canada from Germany and then relocated to the United States and resided in Sharon, Massachusetts until moving to North Attleboro more than 40 years ago. Raised and educated in his native Germany, Mr. Mueller attended technical school there prior to immigrating. He was employed as a tool maker at Texas Instruments in Attleboro for more than 30 years prior to his retirement. His favorite pastimes included the time spent being Mr. Fix It as he was very mechanically inclined and enjoyed working in his tool shed. Gardening, fresh and salt water fishing and hunting, particularly duck, were most enjoyable. However, his greatest treasure was the cherished times spent with his family, in particular, his grandchildren creating lifelong memories. He leaves a son: Peter A. Mueller of North Attleboro; Wendy Anne Puppolo of Foxboro and Deborah Lee Bond of Glocester, Rhode Island; two grandchildren: Darrion Mueller of Mansfield and John Bond, Jr. of Glocester, Rhode Island; a sister: Renate Wiegand of Wuppertal, Germany and several nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. He was the father of the late Tina Louise Mueller who died on December 10, 1968. Family and friends are cordially invited to attend visitation on Friday, February 3, 2012 from 4:00 7:00 PM in the Memorial Chapel of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson House, 161 Commonwealth Avenue (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right at end of ramp, mile on left), Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro.
