Oliver Daniel Baublis, 24, of Raynham, MA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at his home.Born on June 10, 1993 in Boston, MA, he was the beloved son of Daniel Baublis of Providence, RI and Mary Webster-Baublis of Raynham, MA. A 2011 graduate of Bishop Feehan High School, Oliver received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering, with a minor in Business, from Northeastern University. Raised in Mansfield, MA, he lived in Boston while attending college. A natural athlete, he was the captain of the soccer team while at Bishop Feehan where he also played varsity basketball and lacrosse. Oliver's passions included skiing in the US and Europe, and golf, which he played whenever possible. He enjoyed most every sport, from hockey to sailing, and much to the disappointment of his friends, was terrific at fantasy football. Oliver's smile was infectious as was his ability to brighten any situation. He faced his illness with the same directness and positive attitude that he brought to the rest of his life. His smile, warmth, and gregarious personality will be forever missed. In addition to his parents, Oliver leaves his dear sister, Madelaine Coletta Baublis of Raleigh, NC, and was the brother of the late Adam Cleido Baublis, who died in infancy. He was the grandson of the late Joseph and Edna Baublis of Athol, MA, and George and Mary Webster of Chappaqua, NY. Oliver leaves numerous aunts, uncles and cousins as well as innumerable dear friends.All services will be privately held.
