Olive Celia (Ludwig) Morriseau Cheney, 84, of Attleboro Falls, MA, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, August 28, 2017. Born on September 9, 1932 in Attleboro, MA, she was the daughter of the late Lyllian (Davies) and Marvin C. Ludwig, Sr. of Attleboro. Olive grew up in Foxboro and later lived in Attleboro and Plainville, MA, throughout her life. She was employed by Univis in South Attleboro before her retirement, and had also worked as a waitress for many years at The Colestone Pancake House.She enjoyed cooking, crocheting, and sewing, camping with her children and their friends, and loved to create personalized stationery and greeting cards. She especially enjoyed bike riding with her late husband, Almon Cheney.She is survived by her brother, Marvin Ludwig, of Woonsocket, RI, and her sister, Shirley McGrath, of South Attleboro, MA. Olive was married to her first husband, Fredrick Morriseau, for twenty-five years until his passing in 1985, and is survived by their six children: Lois Philibert of North Attleboro, MA; Peggy Robinson of Attleboro Falls, MA; Kathy Grace of Pawtucket, RI; Jim Morriseau of Plainville, MA; Lisa Bosh of North Attleboro, MA; and Joe Morriseau of Bellingham, MA. Olive's second husband was Almon Cheney, with whom she was married for twenty-two years until his passing in January 2017. She is survived by her stepsons: Philip Cheney of TX, and Clyde Cheney of OK, and leaves eight grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.Family and friends are cordially invited to attend a Memorial Service for Olive on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Central Congregational Church, 115 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro with the Rev. Carole L.
