Norman George Boucher

April 25, 1940 — December 19, 2019

Norman George Boucher, 79, of Woonsocket, RI, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 19, 2019 at the Oakland Grove Health Care Center in Woonsocket.  He was the beloved husband of the late Rita A. (Bouchard) Boucher, who died on September 21, 2016.
Born on April 25, 1940 in Providence, RI, he was the son of the late George Boucher and the late Rose D. (Verraneau) Boucher.
Norman proudly and honorably served our country in the United States Navy from 1958 until 1962 as a Boatswain's Mate on board the USS Tarawa.
A resident of Woonsocket since 2016, he previously lived in Cumberland, RI, and worked for many years as an industrial cleaner before retiring.
Norman was always quick with wit and was an avid joker. He enjoyed bowling, was a devoted fan of the NY Giants football team, and cherished spending time with his family.
He leaves his children: Kim P. Boucher, formerly of Cumberland, RI; and Kyle J Boucher and his wife, Kimberly, of Ocala, FL; as well as three grandchildren: Ebony Boucher of Wakefield RI; Veronica Boucher of Smithfield, RI; and Kristopher Boucher of Lincoln, RI.  Norman leaves several nieces and nephews.
All services will be privately held.
