Nora Louise Crowley, 60, of Attleboro, MA passed away unexpectedly at her residence on February 22, 2024.
Born in Fall River, MA on January 30, 1964, she was a daughter of Gail E. (Archer) Crowley of Somerset, MA and the late John Maurice Crowley. Raised and educated in Somerset, MA, Ms. Crowley was a graduate of Somerset High School - Class of 1981 and earned her bachelor's degree in psychology from Bridgewater State College in 1986 and earned a Master's degree in human resource management from Emmanuel College in Boston, MA.
She was employed by various recruiting agencies in her career as an executive recruiter, most recently at Winter Wyman of Waltham, MA.
Nora was a positive light and joy to everyone around her and she wouldn't hesitate to help anyone in need. She was a friend to every neighbor and stranger, spreading laughter and love everywhere she went. She enjoyed making memories with her children and many friends of Attleboro. And specifically looked forward to her youngest daughter becoming a Harvard graduate in May, her son launching a successful business, and her eldest daughter getting married to her beloved son-in-law this August. Nora enjoyed volunteering at local food pantries and donation drives including the Saturday food pantry at Murray Unitarian Universalist Church, Attleboro, MA along with many others.
In addition to her mother, she leaves three children: Mackenzie Elizabeth Lyons, and her fiancé Cameron Richard Barter (A.P.D.), of North Attleboro, MA, Austin John (A.J.) Lyons of East Bridgewater, MA, and Delaney Katherine Lyons of East Bridgewater, MA, followed by their father Austin Robert (Rob) Lyons of East Bridgewater, MA; a brother: Steven John Crowley of Taunton, MA; her aunt and God Mother: Judy Bolick of Framingham, MA, and many extended family members and dear friends.
All are welcome to attend Visitation on Friday, March 1, 2024, from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue (exit 5 off Route 95 North or South, take a right at the top of the exit and funeral home is 3/4 mile on the left) Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.
A graveside service will follow the next day on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at 10:00 am at St. Patrick's Cemetery, Somerset, MA.
